Position Requirements: The primary purpose of this role is to support the TC Kidz Director by playing a key role in leading, planning and implementing critical projects to support the TC Kidz team at Transformation Church. TC Kidz has a vision to present God to kids and their families in a fun and creative way for transformation in Christ.

HAND (Responsibilities + Duties)

  • Lead the weekly experiences of Early Childhood by serving the families and servant leaders and ensuring the weekly success of TC Kidz
  • Manage, model and coach servant leaders through developmentally appropriate and effective early childhood instructional techniques and practices in the TC Kidz weekend experiences
  • Lead Early Childhood as the instructional leader by providing guidance, support, and leadership to servant leaders throughout their serving experience in TC Kidz to produce differentiated learning and engagement for all TC Kidz
  • Develop and implement weekly classroom lessons for both large and small group learning aligned to the TC Kidz curriculum; includes but not limited to a weekly learning objective and memory verse each Sunday, and centers that focus on individual development, social development, emotional development, cognitive skills, language/learning skills and motor skills
  • Manage TC Kidz ongoing communications to all stakeholders within TC Kidz through email campaigns, weekly family guides, webpage and monthly newsletters
  • Develop, initiate, maintain, and revise all compliance policies and procedures within Early Childhood to ensure the safety measures of TC Kidz
  • Lead TC Kidz online experiences for Early Childhood by writing scripts, producing and managing post production
  • Project manage weekly tasks in TC Kidz that contribute to meeting rigorous goals within kids ministry including but not limited to weekend experiences, midweek experiences, TC Kidz family events, TC Kidz summer programming, TC Kidz online experiences, and training and development for TC Kidz stakeholders and servant leaders
  • Lead in data gathering and research on a weekly basis; interpretation of data to reach goals and inform decision making within TC Kidz
  • Management of administrative weekly tasks that includes expense reports, budgets, purchase requests, scheduling, and weekly calls to servant leaders within TC Kidz.
  • All other duties as assigned

HEAD (Knowledge + Training)

  • REQUIRED: Minimum 2 Years of Professional Children’s Ministry experience
  • Experience in leading and developing team members
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Excellent project management skills that ensures projects from inception to completion
  • Knowledgeable and stays abreast of kids curriculum and kids ministry compliance
  • Strong organizational skills, detail-oriented, and good time management skills
  • Self-starter and ability to work under pressure, including troubleshooting and problem-solving skills and a solution-oriented mindset
  • Ability to meet deadlines and goals while managing multiple tasks
  • Proficient computer skills with Apple, Microsoft, and Google products and the ability to learn TC-used databases and technologies
