Ken McInerney

Ken McInerney has a diverse work history, with experience in various roles and industries. Ken started their career as an R&D Chemist at Tarkett Ltd in 1996 before moving on to become a Process & Development Manager at Gerflor in 1998. In 2000, they joined Transitions Optical (Ireland) as a Substrate Engineer and Technology Manager. At Transitions Optical, they progressed through several roles, including Operations Manager, Plant Director (Transitions Thailand), and Global Engineering Director. Their most recent position at Transitions Optical was as the Global Engineering & Technology Platform Director, where they led a team focused on innovation, optimization, and standardization of processes. Throughout their career, Ken has demonstrated expertise in equipment development, technical process support, and continuous improvement.

Ken McInerney completed their Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Biochemistry from the University of Limerick in the years 1992 to 1996. Ken then pursued further education and obtained an Executive Masters of Business Administration degree from the University of Limerick between 2018 and 2020. Additionally, in 2015, they received a certification in Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute.
