Christie Newcomb

Christie Newcomb has a diverse work experience in the field of language education and instructional design. Christie joined Transparent Language in November 2021 as a Project Manager Business Development. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Curriculum Development Manager at Transparent Language from November 2020 to November 2021. Before joining Transparent Language, they served as an Instructional Designer at Concordia University Irvine from October 2018 to November 2020, where they contributed to designing instructional materials. Christie also has experience working at UC Irvine, where they held the positions of Academic Coordinator from July 2015 to October 2018 and Lecturer from August 2014 to October 2018. Christie'swork at UC Irvine involved coordinating academic activities and delivering lectures.

Christie Newcomb obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Journalism from UC Irvine between 2008 and 2011. Later, they pursued a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Teaching English as a Second or Foreign Language/ESL Language Instructor from California State University, Fullerton from 2012 to 2014.
