Collan Murray has extensive work experience, starting in 1999 as a Buyer for Newcastle upon Tyne Hospitals NHS Trust. From there, they worked as a Procurement Manager for Newcastle City Health NHS Trust and as a Contracts and Relationships Manager for Newcastle, North Tyneside and Northumberland NHS Trust. In 2003, they joined the City of London Corporation as a Strategic Procurement Lead. In 2005, they moved to the Greater London Authority and served as the Head of Procurement. They later transitioned to the Greater London Authority Group, where they held the roles of Senior Manager and Head of Economic, Social and Environmental Infrastructure. In 2012, they joined Transport for London and took on various roles, including Programme Manager, Commercial Lead for multiple projects, Head of Procurement and Supply Chain, and most recently, the Head of Commercial.
Collan Murray obtained an LLB (hons) with a focus on Commercial law from Sheffield Hallam University. Collan then pursued an MBA in Procurement Strategy and Supply Chain Management from the University of Birmingham and completed an executive program in Procurement Strategy from the University of Bath.
