Sarah Nannery

Sarah Nannery, MBA, has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Sarah is currently working at Transportation Investment Corporation as the Assistant Director of Human Resources, a position they have held since March 2022. In June 2023, they will be promoted to the role of Director, People.

Prior to their current role, Sarah worked at the District of West Vancouver, where they held various roles in the Human Resources department. Sarah started as a Clerk in December 2011 and gradually worked their way up to Senior Human Resources Advisor. During their time at the District of West Vancouver, they also took on the role of Acting Manager, Human Resources.

Sarah's career began in the hospitality industry, working as a Restaurant Manager at Black's Pub and Restaurant from September 2007 to August 2011.

With their MBA and extensive experience in various HR positions, Sarah has developed a strong background in human resources management and is well-equipped for their current and future roles in people and HR leadership.

Sarah Nannery, MBA, has a diverse education history. Sarah earned their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the University of Northern British Columbia (UNBC) between 2019 and 2021. Prior to their MBA, they completed their Bachelor's degree in Human Kinetics at The University of British Columbia from 2000 to 2004. In 2014 and 2015, Sarah obtained two certificates from different institutions. The first certificate was in Human Resources Management and Services from Simon Fraser University, and the second certificate focused on Immigration: Laws, Policies, and Procedures from The University of British Columbia.
