Daniel Estay has been working in the medical technology industry since 1987. Daniel began their career at LeMare Medical, Inc., where they served in various roles, including General Manager, Finance, Sales, Marketing and Business Development. In 1996, they moved to Johnson & Johnson as Manager of Business Development, where they worked on transactions that provided the proprietary technology to create a drug eluting stent (DES) franchise. In 1999, they joined Andrx Corporation as Director of Mergers & Acquisitions, and in 2001 they moved to The Getz Group as Vice President of Corporate Development. In 2002, they joined Abbott as Vice President of Asia Pacific & Japan, Abbott Vascular and Divisional Vice President of Global Licensing & Business Development, Abbott Medical Products Group. In 2013, they became President of Verathon Inc., a subsidiary of Roper Technologies, Inc., and in 2016 they joined OneMedTech Advisors as Partner. In 2018, they founded and became CEO of SonoVascular, Inc. and in 2020 they became a Mentor-in-Residence, Medical Devices at Duke's Office for Translation & Commercialization and a Board Director at Transverse Medical Inc.
Daniel Estay received their Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Syracuse University - Martin J. Whitman School of Management. Daniel then went on to obtain their Master of Business Administration (MBA) in International Business from the University of Miami Herbert Business School.
