Michael Reardon has worked in the medical field for over 25 years. Michael began their career in 1994 as Chief of Cardiac Surgery and Program Director Thoracic Residency at The Methodist Hospital. In 1995, they joined Baylor College of Medicine as Chief of Cardiothoracic Surgery and Professor of Cardiothoracic Surgery. In 2002, they were appointed Professor of Cardiothoracic Surgery at Methodist DeBakey Heart & Vascular Center. In 2015, they were appointed Allison Family Distinguished Chair of Cardiovascular Research at Houston Methodist Hospital. Most recently, in 2021, they were appointed Chief Medical Officer at Transverse Medical Inc.
Michael Reardon received their Doctor of Medicine (MD) from Baylor College of Medicine in 1975-1978. Michael then completed a General Surgery Residency at Baylor College of Medicine from 1978-1983, followed by a Thoracic Surgery Residency at the Texas Heart Institute from 1983-1985. Michael also holds a Doctor of Medicine - MD from Baylor College of Medicine.
