Dave Miller

Dave Miller has worked in the IT field for over 20 years. Dave began their career in 2001 as a Senior Web Designer at Longbridge Advice and Resource Centre. In 2004, they became the Business Owner, Project Manager, Senior IT Engineer, and Trainer at Crash-IT. From 2012 to 2017, they worked at Wipro as a Military IT Technical Project Manager. From 2017 to 2019, they were the Application Configuration & Administrator Lead at QC Holdings Inc. During this time, they identified bottlenecks in processes and implemented new and improved procedures and policies to ease friction and improve efficiency. Dave then became the Owner and Senior Technical Project Manager at Innovative Expansions by Design in 2019. In 2021, they began working as a Technical IT Project Portfolio Manager at both ArmorPoint and Trapp Technology. In this role, they have accountability for all aspects of the program solution fit to business needs, user acceptance and adoption, security, technical soundness and robustness, ROI/cost, time to delivery, prioritization of features, and more. Dave also creates the technology roadmap for their area and submits budget requests for the needed projects to achieve the objectives for the business.

Dave Miller has an extensive educational background. Dave obtained their High School Diploma from Turner High School in 1993. Dave then continued their education at Newman University Birmingham, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Teaching Adult Education in 2004 and a Science in IT and Technical Support in 2010. Additionally, they have obtained numerous certifications from various institutions, including a Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) from Wipro Limited in 2016, an ITIL v3 Foundation from Wipro Limited in 2015, a Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt from Wipro Limited in 2015, a CAi Satellite Installation from The Confederation of Aerial Industries Limited in 2002, a Demystifying Portable Appliance Testing (PAT) from FIRST STOP SAFETY LTD in 2001, a CACDP Sign Language from Bournville College in 1997, a SECURITY CLEARANCE - SC LEVEL from TPS Consult in 2013, and a First Aid at Work Certificate from New College Redditch in 2004.
