Douglas Hindson

Douglas Hindson is a skilled professional with extensive experience in engineering, product management, and AI development. Currently studying and writing at Sabbatical since February 2024, Douglas was previously a Staff Engineer at Babylon from February 2020 to January 2024, where responsibilities included developing a DIY feature store, creating virtual agent skills, and merging AI products. As Product Manager and Staff Engineer at Babylon, Douglas founded the MLOps platform for AI scientists and engineers. Prior experience includes leading Tractable's flagship AI product as Product Lead, and serving as Lead Backend Developer at Lantum, where significant systems were built and re-architected. Douglas co-founded software ventures, including O2 Canada and TeeGate Corporation, and held an internship at Microsoft, focusing on mobile social networking applications.
