Simon Gros

Simon Gros is the current Chief Development Officer at Travelport. Simon has over 20 years of experience working in governmental affairs and politics.

Simon Gros began their career in 1997 as a Staff Assistant for U.S. Representative Frank LoBiondo. Simon then became a Legislative Correspondent and later a Legislative Aide. In 2000, they left LoBiondo’s office to work as a Legislative Associate at Kessler Century Government Relations.

In 2001, Gros moved to Van Scoyoc Associates where they served as Director of Government Affairs for three years. From 2004 to 2008, they were the Assistant Secretary for Governmental Affairs at the US Department of Transportation (DOT).

In 2008, Gros left the DOT to join Travelport as their Vice President of Government Affairs. Simon was promoted to Chief Development Officer in 2016.

Simon Gros received their J.D. from George Mason University - Antonin Scalia Law School and their B.A. from the University of Maryland.

They work with Mark Harris - Head of Global Solutions Delivery, Margaret K Cassidy - Executive Vice President and General Counsel, and Nick Bray - Chief Financial Officer. Simon Gros reports to Greg Webb, Board Director and Chief Executive Officer.
