Sagar Vaidya

Sagar Vaidya has a diverse and extensive work experience in the medical field. Sagar started their career as a Resident Physician at The Mount Sinai Hospital in 2006 and went on to work as an Infectious Disease Fellow at Brigham and Women's Hospital, Massachusetts General Hospital, and Harvard Medical School. Sagar also served as an Instructor at Harvard Medical School and a Senior Research Fellow at The Ragon Institute of MGH, MIT, and Harvard. In 2010, they joined the Fogarty HIV/AIDS Training Program as a Project Director and Clinical Study Coordinator. Later, they worked as a Medical Director at BioMarin Pharmaceutical Inc. and as a Senior Medical Director at Sangamo Therapeutics, Inc. In 2019, they became the Vice President of Clinical Development at Travere Therapeutics. Additionally, they hold a voluntary position as an Assistant Clinical Professor at UC San Diego Health since 2020. Throughout their career, Sagar Vaidya has demonstrated their expertise and dedication to the medical field.

Sagar Vaidya has a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Biology from California State University, Los Angeles. Sagar then pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Microbiology, Immunology, and Molecular Genetics at UCLA. Later, they attended the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA and obtained a Doctor of Medicine (MD) MSTP degree in Medicine. Sagar Vaidya also has certifications in Infectious Disease and Internal Medicine from the American Board of Internal Medicine, as well as a California Medical License from the Medical Board of California.
