Tanja Pöntinen

Tanja Pöntinen has a diverse work experience in the field of treasury and finance. Tanja started their career at Handelsbanken Capital Markets as an Equities Assistant in September 2000. Tanja then worked as an Equities Trader Trainee at OP Financial Group from April 2001 to June 2001. Following that, they were a Corporate Dealer at Partek Oyj from July 2001 to December 2001. In 2002, Tanja worked as a Market Maker Trainee at Estlander & Partners before becoming a Treasurer at CPS Color from August 2002 to September 2005. Tanja then moved on to Componenta as a Treasury Analyst from September 2005 to September 2008. Tanja's next role was a Product Manager at OpusCapita from October 2008 to June 2009. Tanja briefly worked as a Treasury Controller at Sanitec (part of Geberit Group) from September 2009 to December 2009. Their longest tenure was at Pohjolan Voima, where they started as a Treasury Analyst in December 2009 and worked until August 2017. Their responsibilities included project management, risk management, funding administration, market data analysis, treasury reporting, and liquidity management. Currently, Tanja is employed at Treasury Systems, where they have held multiple roles. Tanja started as a Treasury Sales and Consultant in January 2018 and later transitioned into the role of a Sales and Customer Success Manager in March 2022.

Tanja Pöntinen completed their Master of Science (MS) in Economics and Business Administration from the University of Vaasa between 1998 and 2000. In 2017 and 2018, they obtained a Controller Degree from Markkinointi-instituutti.
