SVP & Chief Business Officer, CPG at Tredence

Sagar Balan has extensive work experience, starting in 2004 with Hewlett Packard Enterprise as a Product Marketing Specialist. From 2008 to 2009, they worked at HCL Technologies as a Product/Sales Manager. Sagar then joined Dell in 2009 as a Business Insights Lead, where they led a web analytics team. In 2012, Sagar joined Mu Sigma Inc. as an Analytics Senior Manager, leading multiple consulting teams for technology clients. Sagar also held the role of Sr. Engagement Manager, where they worked on account leadership for a large automotive OEM. Sagar joined Tredence Inc. in 2017 as a Principal Consultant and then took on roles such as Sr Director of Customer Success and VP of the CPG BU. Currently, they serve as SVP and Chief Business Officer for CPG at Tredence Inc.

Sagar Balan has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Marketing, Finance from XLRI Jamshedpur, which they obtained from 2006 to 2008. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Electronics from PES University, from 2000 to 2004. In addition to their formal education, Sagar has obtained several certifications, including the Amazon Marketing Cloud Certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in July 2023. Sagar also holds certifications in various other areas such as partner training, revenue management, deep learning, and Adobe analytics.
