Chie U.

Chie U. has a diverse work experience in the field of biosciences. They most recently worked as a Scientist at Treeline Biosciences starting in December 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Scientist I, Biomolecular Sciences at New Equilibrium Biosciences from July 2022 to December 2022. They also have experience as a Graduate Student and HHMI-QBReC Instructor at Brandeis University from August 2016 to May 2022. Additionally, Chie U. worked as a Posse STEM Mentor at The Posse Foundation from June 2019 to May 2021. They have research experience as a Junior Specialist NIH Neuromab and as an Undergraduate Student Researcher at UC Davis from June 2014 to June 2016 and from July 2013 to June 2014, respectively. Furthermore, Chie U. worked as an Elephant Welfare Research Intern at UC Davis from September 2012 to May 2013.

Chie U. pursued their education from 2010 to 2014 at the University of California, Davis, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Cell Biology. Following this, from 2016 to 2022, Chie U. attended Brandeis University, where they completed their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Biochemistry and Biophysics.
