Marc Hoemberger

Marc Hoemberger has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Marc'smost recent position was as a Senior Scientist in Biochemistry at Treeline Biosciences, a role they have held since June 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Biochemist at NextRNA Therapeutics from August 2021 to May 2022.

Marc also had a significant tenure at Biogen, where they held two positions. From December 2020 to August 2021, they served as a Scientist II in Enzymology. Earlier, from March 2019 to December 2020, they were a Scientist I in Enzymology.

Before joining the industry, Marc gained academic experience. Marc conducted research as an HHMI Research Associate and Postdoc at the Howard Hughes Medical Institute from August 2018 to March 2019. Marc also pursued their Ph.D. at Brandeis University, focusing on protein kinases and drug design, from September 2012 to July 2018.

Marc started their academic journey at Universität zu Lübeck, where they completed their Master's degree from September 2010 to January 2013. Prior to that, they were a Bachelor's student at the same university from September 2007 to August 2010.

Additionally, Marc gained research experience as a Research Intern at Georgetown University from November 2011 to February 2012 and as a Research Intern at Brandeis University from September 2011 to November 2011.

Marc Hoemberger completed their education with a Bachelor's degree in Molecular Life Sciences from Universität zu Lübeck in 2010. Marc then pursued a Master's degree in Molecular Life Sciences from the same university, which they completed in 2012. Following this, Marc attended Brandeis University from 2012 to 2018, where they obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Biochemistry and Biophysics.
