Qingliang Shen began their work experience as a Postdoc Fellow at MD Anderson Cancer Center in August 2019. They were a member of the Structural Chemistry group and provided protein characterization, fragment-based drug screening, and structural biology support for project teams. In June 2021, they transitioned to Ferring Pharmaceuticals as a Scientist and remained in the role until May 2023. Currently, Qingliang works as a Scientist II at Treeline Biosciences, starting in May 2023.
Qingliang Shen received a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Biophysics and Biochemistry from Texas A&M University, where they studied from 2014 to 2019. They also pursued the study of protein structure and dynamics with NMR, although no specific degree or field of study was mentioned. In terms of certifications, Qingliang Shen obtained a certification in "Target to Hit Finding: New Methods in Fragment-Based Drug Discovery" from C&EN, although the exact month and year of obtaining this certification were not provided.
