Ben Scherer

Ben Scherer has a varied work experience in the bicycle industry. Ben started their career at Budget Bicycle Center Inc in 2002, where they worked as an Assistant Manager for almost 8 years. In 2010, they joined Machinery Row Bicycles as an Assistant General Manager, a position they held for 2 years. In 2008, Ben worked at Affichomanie as a Collections Manager, focusing on the artistic advertising posters of the bicycle industry. Since 2013, they have been at Trek Bicycle, initially serving as a Global Training Manager and later being promoted to Director of Learning and Development. Their role at Trek involved making the company's retailers the best places to learn and love cycling.

Ben Scherer attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison from 2002 to 2005, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Art History, Criticism and Conservation. Following this, they pursued further education at the University of Glasgow from 2007 to 2008, obtaining a Master of Letters (M. Litt) degree in the same field of study.
