Zach Pohlman has a diverse range of work experience in the bicycle industry. Zach started their career as a Service Store Manager at Budget Bicycle Center in 2000, where they managed inventory and provided customer service. Zach then worked as a Head Service Tech at Machinery Row Bicycles from 2004 to 2007, conducting repairs and ensuring customer satisfaction. At Engelhart GreenSmith from 2007 to 2008, Zach served as a Parts Buyer and assisted customers in finding the right parts and equipment. Zach returned to Machinery Row Bicycles as a Senior Buyer from 2009 to 2015, managing a large inventory and implementing data management systems. Zach also worked as a Buyer at Bike-O-Rama from 2013 to 2015, overseeing purchasing and merchandising for a large bicycle expo. Zach later joined Budget Bicycle Center as a Clothing Buyer from 2013 to 2015, where they selected products, coordinated displays, and analyzed sales data. Zach Pohlman completed their Bachelor of Science in Anthropology with a focus on Lithics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison between 1995 and 2000. Later, in 2005 and 2006, they obtained a MMOP Certificate in Motorcycle Repair from Madison Area Technical College.
