Julian Smith

Julian Smith is currently president and CEO of BULLWEALTH, an investment advisory and consulting firm offering solutions to high net worth families, not-for profit organizations and institutional investors. Mr. Smith has over 15 years of investment advisory and investment management experience. He started his career as an investment advisor at Merrill Lynch before leaving to head business development at Charles Schwab Canada. Mr. Smith spent over five years as senior vicepresident at Raymond James Ltd. heading its Asset Management and Product Research groups, then left to cofound a global government bond investment management firm. Mr. Smith’s expertise includes investment advisory, operational management, compliance and risk management, and leadership. Mr. Smith is a graduate of Trent University with a B.Sc. in Economics and holds the CIM® designation (Certified Investment Manager). Following his service on the Trent Board of Governor’s Investment & Pension Committee as an external committee member from 2017-18, Mr. Smith has been reappointed for a second three-year term as a Board Member, effective July 1, 2021.
