Peter Zoppi

Lead Character Artist at Treyarch

Peter Zoppi has over 15 years of experience in the gaming and entertainment industry. Peter is currently working at Treyarch as the Lead Character Artist, a role they took on in October 2021. Prior to this, Peter held the position of Character Art Specialist at Treyarch from July 2017 to October 2021. From October 2007 to July 2017, they served as a Senior Character Artist at the same company.

In addition to their work at Treyarch, Peter also has experience as a Character Art Mentor at The Mentor Coalition since June 2018. Peter is responsible for mentoring and guiding students in character art.

Peter has also worked as a Character Art Instructor at CG Master Academy, starting in January 2013. In this role, they create course material, instructs and mentors students from all over the world, and helps them improve their artwork and technical skills.

Before joining Treyarch, Peter worked as a Senior Character Artist at Luxoflux from December 2006 to October 2007. Prior to that, they served as a Modeler at Rhythm & Hues from March 2006 to December 2006, and as a Modeler/Texture Artist at Luma Pictures from May 2005 to February 2006.

Peter Zoppi's education history includes obtaining a certificate in CGI from the Gnomon School of Visual Effects from 2003 to 2005. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Fine Art from Trinity College-Hartford, where they studied from 1998 to 2002.
