Susan Ockert

Susan Ockert is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in economic research and consulting. Currently serving as an Independent Consultant at The Rowman & Littlefield Publishing Group, Inc. since January 2015, and as the President of SO Consulting, Inc. since 2007, Susan has successfully managed various projects, including initiatives in Indian Country, Montana, and broadband development in rural areas of Florida and Virginia. As the Director of Economic Research and Economic Development Director for the Tri-County Council For Southern Maryland since April 2001, Susan has supported key economic initiatives and prepared vital reports assessing the economic impact of military presence and major retail operations in the region. Previous experience includes a role as Senior Research Economist at the Montana Department of Commerce, where Susan conducted economic analysis and provided crucial data to governmental and business entities. Educational qualifications include multiple Master's degrees in Economics and International Management from George Mason University and Thunderbird School of Global Management.
