Project Manager - Combined Federal Campaign at Tribal Tech

Jamie McKanna has a diverse work experience in the nonprofit sector. Starting in 2000, Jamie worked as a Development Officer at United Way of Rhode Island, where they successfully directed multiple corporate campaigns and raised over $10 million annually. Jamie's performance led to a promotion as the leader of Rhode Island's employee workplace campaign.

In 2010, Jamie joined Trident United Way as a Development Officer and eventually became the Director of the Combined Federal Campaign. They managed fundraising efforts for various divisions and oversaw a workplace campaign involving 10 counties, 140 federal organizations, and 40,000 employees. Jamie also implemented training programs that significantly increased attendance and resources raised.

In 2017, Jamie moved on to Lowcountry Food Bank as a Food Resource Manager. They established and maintained relationships with local food donors, resulting in the rescue of over 13 million pounds of food and nearly 11 million meals for vulnerable populations.

Most recently, Jamie joined Tribal Tech, LLC in 2018 as a Project Manager for the Combined Federal Campaign. They successfully transitioned the campaign from in-person to virtual implementation using various collaborative tools. Jamie exceeded federal stakeholder expectations as the primary liaison for multiple Federal Board of Directors responsible for raising over $8 million.

Jamie McKanna attended the University of Missouri-Columbia from 1993 to 1998, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in the College of Natural Resources. Their field of study within the degree program was Tourism Development and Marketing. Additionally, Jamie also pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Parks, Recreation and Tourism Development at the same university, although the specific years of study for this degree were not provided.
