Lauren Gadie

Lauren Gadie has over eight years of work experience in the education sector. Lauren started their career in 2011 as a High School Science Teacher at St Edmund Arrowsmith Catholic High School, where they taught science to children between ages 11-16. In 2013, they joined Pioneer Charter School of Science (PCSS-I) as an 8th Grade Mathematics Teacher and 8th Grade Chair Head. As part of their role, they were responsible for planning and leading monthly grade team meetings and facilitating, communicating successes, challenges, and goals to administration. In 2015, they joined Alta Vista School as a 4th Grade Mathematics Teacher. Her leadership roles included Hiring Committee Chair, Curriculum Visualization Development Lead, and Scheduling Design Lead. In 2019, they joined Tribe Capital as an Operations.

Lauren Gadie has a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Chemistry and Mathematics from the University of Leeds, which they obtained between 2007 and 2010. Lauren then went on to obtain a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) in Science (Chemistry, Biology and Physics) from Liverpool Hope University between 2010 and 2011. Lauren also holds certifications from the Massachusetts Department of Education in MTEL Communication and Literacy Skills - Reading, Writing, and Middle School Mathematics.
