Andrea Gómez

Andrea G. is currently a PhD student at Università degli Studi di Trieste, focusing on the Paleogene Mass-Transport Deposits of the Julian-Slovenian Basins and their tsunamigenic potential. Previously, Andrea served as a researcher under a scholarship, engaging in geological surveys for the CARG ISPRA Project. From 2010 to 2020, Andrea owned a business specializing in children's clothing, providing direct sales and administrative support while maintaining an online presence. Experience also includes roles as a geologist at Geoside Geofisica and as a site activity manager at GEOSEC ITALIA, where geophysical and geotechnical investigations were conducted. Internships at Helmholtz-Centre Potsdam and the Icelandic Institute of Natural History involved field sampling and laboratory analysis. Andrea holds a Master's Degree in Geology from Università degli Studi di Padova, completed in 2017.
