Jaryl Sim

Jaryl Sim has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Jaryl is currently the CTO at Tribe since 2022. Prior to that, they founded Tinkerbox Studios where they worked as a Founder and CTO, focusing on streamlining project delivery and supporting entrepreneurs. Jaryl also held the role of Senior Developer at Shopify from 2020 to 2022. Jaryl has served as a Technical Advisor and Chief Technology Officer at AllRites, where they provided guidance and leadership in technology-related matters. Jaryl also served as the Chief Technology Officer at UpCode Academy, overseeing the refactoring of a Ruby on Rails codebase and implementing UI/UX improvements. Jaryl co-founded EPOS Pte. Ltd. and worked as the CTO, leading the revamp of their Point-of-Sale product line. Additionally, they were part of the first cohort of Entrepreneur First in Singapore and served as a mentor at TechLadies bootcamp. Jaryl has extensive experience in conducting courses and mentoring at Startup Academy and Founder Institute. Jaryl Sim completed their education with a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Information Systems from Singapore Management University from 2007 to 2011. Prior to that, they obtained a Diploma in Information Technology from Nanyang Polytechnic from 2002 to 2005. Their secondary school education was completed at St. Gabriel's Secondary School from 1997 to 2001, and their primary education was at St. Michael's Primary School from 1990 to 1996.
