Akiko McCoy

Akiko is responsible for supporting the Chief Compliance Officer in managing the daily compliance operations. She brings over twenty years of regulatory compliance experience. Prior to joining TriLinc in 2022, Akiko was a Managing Director, Head of Corporate Compliance at Ares Management LLC, where she joined in 2010. Prior to that, Akiko was a Compliance Manager at STW Fixed Income Management, and Vice President at Andor Capital Management, Compliance Officer at Dimensional Fund Advisors and Vice President at Pequot Capital Management. Akiko received her bachelor’s degree from Iona College and was a recipient of the department award of excellence in Philosophy.
