John Egan

John Egan serves as the Non-Executive Chairman of the Board at Progress and is actively involved in governance and strategic committees across various organizations, including Trilio and NETSCOUT, where John holds positions as Board Member and Lead Independent Director, respectively. Egan has a long-standing role as Managing Member at Carruth, LLC, and contributes to academic governance as a trustee at Boston College. With a history of leadership at EMC and VMware, Egan has also played key roles in early-stage venture funding through Egan-Managed Capital. Egan's educational background includes degrees from Boston College and further executive education from Harvard Business School and Stanford Law School.
