Michael Kiser

Michael Kiser has a diverse work experience in the field of architecture and transit planning. Michael started their career as a Transit Oriented Development Planner at TriMet in 1996 and worked there until 2001. Michael then worked as an Architectural Designer at Boora Architects from 2005 to 2007, and later at THA Architecture, Inc. from 2007 to 2009. In 2009, they joined Surround Architecture as a Designer before starting their own firm, Meld Design, in 2010. After that, they returned to TriMet in 2012, initially as a Project Manager and later as a Project Director.

Michael Kiser earned their Bachelor's degree in Urban Planning with a focus on Urban Design from the University of Cincinnati. Michael then went on to earn a Master of Architecture (M.Arch.) degree from the University of Oregon between 2001 and 2004.
