George Hooker

George Hooker is an accomplished filmmaker and photographer with extensive experience in the media and education sectors. Since January 2020, George has served as an Adjunct Teaching Fellow at Trinity College Dublin. In parallel, George has been the Founder and Festival Director of KinoD since November 2012, successfully organizing multiple international filmmaking festivals. As an independent filmmaker since 2012, George has produced a variety of visual content, including short films and music videos. George also holds the position of Photography & Videography lead creator and trainer at Donutz Digital, and previously worked as a videographer for SNP Communications and as a writer and photographer for VICE Media, Inc. George's academic background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Media Studies from Technological University Dublin, complemented by earlier education at Glenstal Abbey.
