Alex Willshere

Alex Willshere has a diverse work experience in various leadership roles within the recruitment and advisory industry. They served as the Group Director - Talent, People & Performance at Trinnovo Group, where they focused on talent attraction, HR operations, and learning & development. Alex also held roles such as the Group Associate Director - Head of Learning, Development & Performance, Manager - Learning, Development & Performance, Lead - Learning & Development, and Partner - Learning & Development at Trinnovo Group. They were the Permanent Lead - Head of Data & Analytics at Trust in SODA, which is a part of Trinnovo Group. Additionally, Alex was the Group Director at DeepRec.ai and Broadgate. Prior to that, from 2005 to 2007, they attended Colchester Sixth Form College and earned their A-level degree. During this time, they studied Business Studies, English Language, Politics, and Sociology.

From 2000 to 2005, they completed their GCSE at The Honywood Secondary School in Coggeshall.

In addition to their formal education, Alex has also obtained various certifications. In August 2015, they became a LinkedIn Certified Professional–Recruiter. Later on, in December 2022, they obtained certifications in Coaching Skills for Leaders and Managers, Public Speaking: Energize and Engage Your Audience, and Strategic Human Resources. Most recently, in January 2023, they completed certifications in Creating Psychological Safety for Diverse Teams and Taking Charge of Your Career, all from LinkedIn.
