Sofia Sotiropoulou

Sofia Sotiropoulou is a seasoned professional in sustainability and business development, currently serving as Sustainability Business Development Director and Sustainability Lead at Trinseo since March 2022. Previously, Sofia held various leadership roles at Clariant, including Sustainability Leader for the BU ICS and Strategic Manager for Sustainability Transformation, where responsibilities included technology scouting and business model development. Prior experience at Procter & Gamble involved serving as Senior Manager in R&D for Hair Care, overseeing product design and launch for Head & Shoulders in Europe, as well as managing projects in the Paper Products sector. Sofia started their career as a Research Associate at Cornell University and holds a Ph.D. in Chemistry from Cornell University, as well as a B.Sc. in Chemistry from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.
