Vincent Chevrier has a background in research and development, specializing in energy storage technologies, particularly Li-ion battery technologies. Vincent began their career at MIT as a Postdoctoral Fellow, focusing on computational materials science and lithium-ion batteries. Vincent then joined 3M, where they held various roles including Senior Research Engineer, Research Specialist, and Advanced Research Specialist. At 3M, they played a leadership role in designing and developing a materials informatics platform, working closely with scientists and developers. Vincent also gained experience in software development across the full stack, including database, server, API design, single-page application (SPA), and cloud deployment. Currently, they are working as the Chief Technology Officer at Trion Energy Solutions Corp. and is also a Partner at Cyclikal.

Vincent Chevrier's education history is as follows:

Vincent Chevrier pursued their Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Physics from the University of Ottawa, which they completed between 2000 and 2004. After that, they attended Dalhousie University, where they earned a Master's degree in Physics from 2004 to 2006. Their studies continued at Dalhousie University, and they obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Physics from 2006 to 2009.

Following their doctoral studies, Vincent Chevrier joined the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 2009 as a Postdoctoral Fellow in the field of Materials Science. Vincent held this position for a year, until 2010.

In addition to their formal education, Vincent Chevrier also obtained several certifications. In 2019, they became a Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) through the Scrum Alliance. A year later, in 2020, they obtained the licenses of Licensed Scrum Product Owner from Scrum Inc. Vincent also became an IOP Trusted Reviewer through IOP Publishing in September 2020.
