Matthew Knowles

Matthew Knowles has a diverse work experience in the aerospace industry. Matthew is currently working as a Project Manager at Triton Submarines LLC since January 2023. Prior to this, they were a Project Engineer at Piper Aircraft from October 2020 to January 2023. Matthew also had a previous stint at Triton Submarines LLC as a Project Manager from September 2019 to October 2020.

Before joining Piper Aircraft, Matthew worked as a Sr. Manufacturing Engineer / Project Manager at Piper Aircraft from October 2015 to September 2019. During this time, they were responsible for managing the transition of the M600 Program from experimental design to production and overseeing multiple projects for quality improvement, cost reduction, and flow time reduction. Matthew effectively coordinated between support groups, tooling, engineering, and quality teams for successful project execution.

Matthew has also gained experience in various manufacturing and project engineering roles. Matthew worked as a Project Engineer at Paradigm Precision in 2015 and as a Manufacturing Engineer at Honda Aircraft Company from April 2015 to July 2015. Matthew worked as a Sr. Manufacturing Engineer at Piper Aircraft from February 2013 to April 2015 and as a Manufacturing Engineer at Bombardier Aerospace from June 2011 to February 2013.

Matthew began their career as a Manufacturing Technician at Boeing Commercial Airplanes in June 2009. Matthew worked on the 787 Dreamliner production line and flight line, ensuring accurate documentation and coordinating between quality and engineering teams. Prior to this, they served in multiple roles at Cessna Aircraft Company, including Quality Manager / Inspection Supervisor, Manufacturing Engineer, and Manufacturing Technician.

Throughout their career, Matthew has demonstrated their expertise in project management, manufacturing engineering, quality improvement, and team coordination.

Matthew Knowles completed a Bachelor's degree in Business Management from Friends University between 2002 and 2005. Following that, they pursued a Masters degree in Criminal Justice from Wichita State University from 2005 to 2007. In addition to their academic accomplishments, they obtained a certification in Six Sigma Green Belt from Textron Inc in June 2008.
