Daniel Dauwalter is an accomplished expert in fisheries science with extensive experience in aquatic conservation. Currently serving as the Fisheries Science Director at Trout Unlimited since September 2008, Daniel leads initiatives in conservation planning, stream restoration, and fish population viability. Previous roles include Fisheries Research Specialist and Post-Doctoral Research Associate at the University of Wyoming, where aquatic monitoring protocols were developed. Daniel's academic background includes a Ph.D. in Fisheries and Wildlife Ecology from Oklahoma State University, an M.S. in Aquaculture/Fisheries from the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff, and a B.A. in Biology and Environmental Studies from Gustavus Adolphus College.
