Pradipika Vasudevan

Junior Materials Engineer at True Angle

Pradipika Vasudevan is currently a Junior Materials Engineer at True Angle, a position they have held since 2021. Prior to this, they were a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Alberta from 2019 to 2021, where they also held the roles of Grader for CH E 485-694 Fuel cells and their applications, and Grader for CH E 318 Mass transfer. In 2018, they were an Undergraduate Research intern at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, where they worked on “Plasma modified wet laid fibre-reinforced hydrogels for skin tissue engineering.” During this time, they synthesized hydrogels and characterized them using various facilities at UAB, and presented a poster on this work at the 10th UAB Summer Expo for Undergraduates, for which they were awarded second place.

Pradipika Vasudevan started their education in 2012 at Atomic Energy Central School, where they studied Science, Social Science, English, Hindi, and Mathematics. In 2014, they attended Kendriya Vidyalaya and studied Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics, and English. From 2015 to 2019, they attended National Institute of Technology Rourkela, where they earned their Bachelor of Technology in Biomedical/Medical Engineering. Pradipika then continued their education at the University of Alberta, where they earned their Master of Science in Materials Engineering in 2021.
