James Groenewold

James Groenewold has a diverse work experience spanning over three decades, starting with Cargill in 1990, where they worked in different financial positions until 2004. James then worked for GE Capital and St. Jude Medical before joining TCF Equipment Finance. At TCF, they held various leadership positions, including Vice President & Controller, VP Director Commercial Banking Accounting, VP Director Branch Banking Accounting, Senior Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer, and finally, Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Groenewold left TCF in 2018 to join EQ by Equiniti, where they held two roles, including Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. James joined True North Equity Partners in July 2022 as its Managing Director and Chief Operating Officer.

James Groenewold attended Minnesota State University Moorhead from 1981 to 1990 and obtained a Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
