Senior Content Developer at Trueline

Cherie Scott has a wealth of work experience, beginning in 2007 as a Senior Resident Representative for AVE by Korman Communities. In this role, they created a sales manual for leasing luxury suites, coordinated relocation packages for residents, and provided one-on-one training for new employees in sales and operations. In 2008, they took on the role of Sales Manager and Catering Director at Spruce Point Inn Resort, where they achieved hotel and catering revenue, profit and customer satisfaction goals. From 2012 to 2015, they worked as Events and Membership Director for the Boothbay Harbor Region Chamber of Commerce, where they supervised events, managed PR and marketing, and was responsible for $500,000 in advertising revenue. In 2020, they began work as Senior Content Developer for Trueline, and also took on roles as Content Developer and Assistant Content Coordinator. That same year, they began work as Business Development for Vacasa.

Cherie Scott received their Bachelor's degree in Broadcast Journalism from Rutgers University-New Brunswick in 2006. Prior to that, they obtained an Associate of Arts - AA in Communication, Journalism, and Related Programs from Raritan Valley Community College in 2004. In 1998-1999, they completed a Certificate in Musical Theater - Integrated Program from the American Musical and Dramatic Academy.
