Justin Futrell

Justin Futrell is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in benefits advising and entrepreneurship. Currently serving as a Benefits Advisor and Certified Self-Funded Specialist at TrueNorth Companies, L.C. since July 2016, Justin has also held roles as a Producer Coordinator and Benefit Advisor. Previous experience includes leadership involvement at Cedar Rapids Metro Economic Alliance and ownership of Futrell & Gearhart LLC, a successful landscaping and moving business that completed over 100 jobs, where logistics and payroll management were key responsibilities. Additionally, Justin co-founded Pizza After Dark, a late-night food service in Mount Vernon, IA, addressing community needs through strategic partnerships. Early career experience includes a lifeguard position at YMCA. Justin holds a Bachelor of Science in Applied Economics & Business from Cornell College and is pursuing a Master of Healthcare Innovation at The Ohio State University.
