Kate Gillette Layton, PharmD, BCACP

Kate Gillette Layton, PharmD, BCACP has a broad range of experience in the pharmacy field. Kate began their career in 2005 as a Quality Assurance Associate for Wyeth Consumer Health Care. In 2010, they took on the role of Regional Pharmacy Specialist for Kroger, where they earned promotions for top performance and increased responsibilities from intern into leadership management roles. Kate then moved to Walmart in 2016, where they acted as Pharmacy Manager and Staff Pharmacist, driving sales and customer- and patient-centric programs and managing 20+ pharmacists, technicians, and sales associates. Most recently, they accepted the position of Director of Clinical Services for Truentity Health in 2022, where they develop training programs and client relationships and oversees a team of clinical pharmacists and technicians who provide Medication Therapy Management services.

Kate Gillette Layton, PharmD, BCACP holds a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Mercer University College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Old Dominion University.
