Alexandra Rios, PT, DPT

Alexandra Rios, PT, DPT has a diverse range of work experience. Alexandra currently holds the position of Lead Learning Designer at The Holdsworth Center, where they utilize their expertise to design and develop learning materials. Prior to this, Alexandra worked at TruFusion, LLC as a Talent Development Specialist, where they designed and delivered instructor-led courses and provided feedback to instructors. Alexandra also worked as the Director of Clinical Development at Airrosti, where they designed and delivered trainings to improve revenue, employee retention, and performance. Additionally, Alexandra has experience as a Physical Therapist at Airrosti and Massachusetts General Hospital, where they treated various musculoskeletal diagnoses and communicated with patients in Spanish. Alexandra also worked as a Chemistry and Physics High School Teacher through Teach For America, where they significantly improved student performance on the Texas state science exam.

Alexandra Rios, PT, DPT pursued their education in a chronological order. Alexandra completed their Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology at the University of Southern California from 2007 to 2011. Continuing their educational journey, they then attended the MGH Institute of Health Professions, where they obtained their Doctor's Degree in Physical Therapy from 2013 to 2016.

In addition to their formal education, Alexandra Rios has also acquired several certifications. Alexandra obtained certifications in various subjects such as Designing Scenario-Based Learning, Elearning Essentials: Instructional Design, Gamification of Learning, Learning Design Thinking, Measuring Learning Effectiveness, Instructional Design: Adult Learners, and Motivating Your Team to Learn from LinkedIn in December 2022 and November 2022. Alexandra also obtained a certification in Physical Therapy from the Texas Board of Physical Therapy Examiners in September 2016.
