Jon Rumsey

Jon Rumsey has extensive technical experience in various engineering and service roles. Currently serving as Technical Services Manager and formerly as Product Support Specialist at TRUMPF North America since April 2006, Jon specializes in technical phone service and has a background as a Field Services Engineer, focusing on the installation and repair of CO2 and Fiber 2D flatbed laser cutting machines. Prior to this, Jon worked as an Electrician at Tower International from April 1996 to April 2006, where responsibilities included electrical troubleshooting and installation. Earlier experience includes operating and programming Okuma CNC lathes at Axly Tool and Bushing and serving as an Avionics Technician in the United States Marine Corps, specializing in repairs and troubleshooting of Ch-53E Helicopters. Jon holds a Journeyman degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Delta College, obtained between 1998 and 2000.
