Robert Pope

Robert Pope is a Field Service Engineer at TRUMPF North America since March 2016, bringing extensive experience from a distinguished career in the US Navy lasting from August 1994 to April 2013. In the Navy, Robert served as a Gas Turbine System Mechanic, where responsibilities included leading the refurbishment of propeller assemblies, saving significant costs and reducing downtime, as well as supervising propulsion and electrical machinery operations as an Engineering Officer of the Watch. Additional duties included acting as an instructor in training centers and overseeing maintenance on various gas turbine engines. Robert holds a Bachelor's Degree in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering from ECPI University and an Associate's Degree in Mechatronics from Tidewater Community College.
