Svp, Leading The Consumer Division (formerly CUNA Mutual Group) at TruStage

Steve Danco has over 30 years of experience in marketing and leadership roles. Steve currently serves as the Senior Vice President leading the Consumer Division at TruStage. Prior to joining TruStage in 2019, Steve held the position of Chief Marketing Officer for the Direct Division at New York Life Insurance Company for 12 years. In this role, they oversaw direct sales and revenue generation across multiple lines of business. Before joining New York Life, Steve worked for WCI Communities as the VP of Marketing, where they led corporate/brand advertising and database marketing efforts for a luxury homebuilding company. Steve also played a key role in the launch and development of the Westshore Yacht Club. Earlier in their career, Steve worked for the American Cancer Society, directing marketing and database strategies for branding and fundraising campaigns, and for Benito Advertising and Public Relations as a copywriter.

Steve Danco earned their Bachelor of Arts degree in English from the University of Notre Dame from 1981 to 1985. Later, they pursued their Master of Business Administration degree with a focus on Marketing from the University of South Florida from 1990 to 1994.
