Angelyn Mercado

Angelyn Mercado has a diverse work experience spanning several companies. Angelyn started their career as an Accounting Assistant at Wealth Development Bank Corp., where they performed various accounting tasks such as encoding daily transactions, preparing loan accounting transactions, and handling daily banking operations. Angelyn later joined Valera Flores and Associates, CPAs as a Junior Accounting and Audit Staff, where they checked and recorded daily sales transactions, audited cash and other accounts, and prepared monthly income statements for clients.

Angelyn then moved to Metrobank, where they worked as an Accounting Assistant. Their responsibilities included reconciling inward checks, performing triangular balancing of documents, and preparing corresponding advice for unposted transactions. After that, they joined TrustArc as an Administrative Assistant and later served as a Finance and Accounting Officer. Their roles at TrustArc involved processing various financial transactions, monitoring accounting data, approving reimbursements and bank transfers, managing accounts payable, and maintaining an orderly accounting filing system. Currently, they hold the position of Corporate Controller at TrustArc, where they oversee the operations of the accounting department, prepares financial reports/statements, approves journal entries and transactions, and processes bank transfers and expense reimbursements.

Throughout their career, Angelyn has gained valuable experience in various finance and accounting roles, demonstrating their strong skills in financial analysis, transaction processing, and organizational management.

Angelyn Mercado holds a Master's degree in Financial Management from the University of Cebu, which they obtained from 2014 to 2016. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's degree in Accountancy from the University of San Jose-Recoletos between 2001 and 2005. In 2019, they attended the Ateneo Graduate School of Business for courses in Business Administration and Management, General.
