Pearl Navaja has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Pearl began their career in 2009 as a Customer Relations Specialist at Aboitiz Transport System Corporation, where they worked until 2014. Pearl then joined TrustArc in 2014 and has held various roles within the company. Pearl started as a Privacy Solutions Specialist from October 2014 to June 2017. Subsequently, they worked as a Website Analyst, responsible for conducting website reviews and assessing website functionalities for compliance with certification standards. From April 2019 to January 2020, Pearl served as a Senior Website Analyst, providing support in recruitment and new hire training while demonstrating expertise in MS Office applications and internet technologies. After that, they transitioned to the role of Project Support Lead, where they effectively led the Project Support team in Cebu and collaborated with internal resources and third-party vendors for project execution. Currently, Pearl holds the position of Senior Lead Project Support/OIS at TrustArc, with responsibilities including managing change to project scope and schedule, coordinating project management activities, ensuring data accuracy, and assisting in recruitment efforts.

Pearl Navaja obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology with a specialization in Computer Programming from the University of Cebu. This education took place from 2005 to 2009.

In terms of additional certifications, Pearl Navaja has achieved several distinctions from the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP). In April 2017, they obtained the Certified Information Privacy Professional-United States Concentration (CIPP/US) certification. Pearl went on to acquire the Certified Information Privacy Professional/Europe (CIPP/E) certification in May 2018. Pearl Navaja also holds the Certified Information Privacy Technologist (CIPT) certification, attained in December 2019. In March 2020, they achieved the Fellow of Information Privacy (FIP) recognition. Finally, in July 2022, they obtained the Certified Information Privacy Manager (CIPM) certification from the IAPP.
