Rebecca Lant has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Rebecca began their career as an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant at Rutgers University in 2015 and later served as a Peer Mentor at Rutgers University Student Life. Rebecca then became a Mentor at Dress for Success Worldwide. In 2016, Rebecca held multiple roles at Rutgers University, including Undergraduate Lab Associate in the Economic Decision Laboratory, Undergraduate Researcher in the Social Cognition Laboratory, and Lab Assistant in the Priors and Memory Laboratory.

Rebecca's experience continued at Neurology Specialists of Monmouth County, PA, where they worked as a Research Study Coordinator in 2017. Rebecca then joined the University of Pennsylvania in 2018 as a Clinical Research Coordinator, leading research efforts in trials related to mood and anxiety disorders. At General Assembly in 2021, Rebecca became a UX Design Immersive Fellow, extensively learning and applying UX methodologies. Rebecca conducted UX research, analyzed data, and applied findings to target personas.

In 2021, Rebecca moved to Invisible Strengths as a User Experience Designer. In this role, they optimized startup productivity by implementing agile methodologies and utilized the full UX process to validate designs based on target user data. Rebecca also conducted a comprehensive audit of existing frames and redesigned them according to WCAG accessibility standards. Additionally, Rebecca built the mobile filtering system for users based on open and closed card sorting results.

Currently, Rebecca works as a UI/UX Designer at TrustCloud, starting in 2022.

Rebecca Lant obtained their Bachelor's degree in Psychology with a minor in Cognitive Science from Rutgers University, where they studied from 2013 to 2017. In addition to their formal education, Rebecca has acquired several certifications. Rebecca completed the "User Experience Design Immersive Remote" program at General Assembly in January 2022. Prior to that, they completed "The Complete jQuery Course: From Beginner to Advanced" at Udemy in April 2021. Rebecca also holds a certification as a Front End Web Developer from Udacity, which they obtained in August 2020. In February 2020, they completed the "Intro to Programming Nanodegree" at Udacity. Furthermore, Rebecca has gained expertise in Phlebotomy Procedures for Drawing Blood through a program at Perivascular Nurse Consultants, Inc in March 2019. Rebecca is also IRB (Institutional Review Board) certified for Social/Behavioral/Epidemiologic Research Investigators and has completed a program on IRB Members and Professional HSP/IRB program staff - Social/Behavioral in March 2017 and September 2016 respectively from the COLLABORATIVE INSTITUTIONAL TRAINING INITIATIVE (CITI PROGRAM).
