Michael Hall

Michael Hall is the current General Counsel and Corporate Secretary at Trustco Bank. Michael has also previously worked for the Albany Municipal Water Finance Authority, City of Albany Common Council, and New York Supreme Court, Appellate Division, Third Department.

Hall began their career as an Appellate Court Attorney for the New York Supreme Court, Appellate Division, Third Department in 1990. Michael then became involved in local politics, serving on the Albany Common Council from 1994 to 2001, where they eventually became President Pro Tempore. In 2009, they were appointed Chair of the Albany Municipal Water Finance Authority, a position they held until 2018. During their time there, they also served as Treasurer from 2010 to 2015. In their current role at Trustco Bank, Hall is responsible for providing legal counsel and guidance to the bank and its employees.

After receiving their B.A. in Political Science and Government from Siena College, Michael Hall attended Western New England University School of Law where they earned their bachelors degree.

They work with Eric W. Schreck - Senior Vice President and Florida Regional President, Kevin M. Curley - Executive Vice President and Chief Operations Officer, and Scot R. Salvador - EVP & Chief Lending Officer. Michael Hall reports to Robert Joseph McCormick, Chairman, President & CEO.
