Ownership -- Do the right thing, inside and out, for everyone. Participation -- Feel empowered to have an opinion and be a part of solutions, without waiting. Speak up early and often -- Asking for help is a sign of strength. Slow down to speed up -- Doing things now and doing things right will lead to less lists and fixes. Document what you do -- Better visibility, less duplication and easier ramp ups for future team members. Organized logic -- More info in less places! Focus on the actions -- Once goals are set, let’s get them down to what we can do now/next.

I try hard to communicate with people in ways unique to the individual. I'm here for you -- I like to make sure I’m as accessible as possible. Open communication -- I try my absolute best to create safe spaces where people can be authentic and vulnerable. I ask why A LOT -- To learn what I don’t know or because I'm simply curious about how others think/do. Keep it casual -- I think some of the best ideas happen in casual moments when we are all peers over titles. Work does not define culture -- Having fun in meetings, chats, and elsewhere keeps us grounded, humble, and objective. The work can be serious, at work doesn’t have to be. Feedback is a gift (really!) -- Feedback should be delivered mindfully, but forward.

Passion & Patience -- Staying excited, but not getting frustrated by our current limitations. There’s always a solution -- The obstacle is the way, even if it doesn’t get us all of the way. Assume good intent from others -- Remember that we’re all on the same team, but have different personalities and priorities at play. Work in the open -- Work should live on it's own, open for great ideas and efforts to come from everywhere and everyone. Experimentation -- There is no failure, only lessons learned, so go big and go fast. Balance is constantly in jeopardy -- Attempt to find the center points - which are usually not in the center. Be yourself and engage -- Bring your WHOLE self to work. Be authentic in building meaningful relationships.
