Jayanth Jawahar

Jayanth Jawahar is an Associate Scientist at TScan Therapeutics, contributing to the MaGIC group by providing NGS data to support TCR-T cell therapy and discover novel TCR sequences. Jayanth previously completed a PhD in Molecular Genetics and Microbiology at Duke University, where research focused on the genetic requirements for colonization of the gut bacterium P. vulgatus. Prior experiences include roles as a lab technician at the Center for Drug Design at the University of Minnesota, an undergraduate teaching assistant, and various research internships, notably at the Mayo Clinic and in projects related to antibiotic resistance and bioremediation. Jayanth holds a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology from the University of Minnesota.
