Justin Gonzales

Justin Gonzales, Ph.D., currently serves as a Principal Process Engineer at TSMC since February 2021. Prior to this role, Justin was a Graduate Research Assistant at Arizona State University from August 2015 to June 2020, where research focused on microwave loss mechanisms in dielectric and semiconductor devices, defect engineering for magnetically tunable dielectric resonators, and semiconductor device processing. Earlier experience includes a Science Undergraduate Laboratory Internship at the U.S. Department of Energy, involving electrical and magnetic characterizations of iron-based superconductors, and a position as a Student Worker at Western Illinois University, where project leadership and support for electrical engineers were key responsibilities. Academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering from Arizona State University and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Physics from Western Illinois University.
